Alex Meader is an award winning writer and director who has been telling stories across many different mediums for almost a decade. His body of work includes feature films, short films, commercials, branded content, music videos, and virtual reality.
Meader's feature, short film, and music video work has been featured in a wide range of film festivals across the country including SoCal Film Fest, Arizona Film Festival, Young Cuts International, LA Comedy Fest, and the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival. In addition his extensive commercial directing experience includes such brands as Chevy, YouTube, HyperX, Major League Gaming, The Tourism Authority of Thailand, Jacuzzi, and Denso.
Over the last two years, Meader has also begun taking on projects in the realm of virtual reality. Working alongside frequent directing collaborator Connor Hair, Alex has directed VR brand films for YouTube and The Tourism Authority of Thailand as well as the Civil War narrative VR film “My Brother’s Keeper” for PBS and Technicolor which premiered at Sundance in 2017.
Meader is passionate about storytelling and brings that passion to every project he directs. He is a strong believer in the power of good preparation and hard work as the keys to executing any project to its fullest potential.
Connor Hair is an award winning writer, director and cinematographer. After working as a cinematographer on six feature length projects and commercial projects for Microsoft, VW, Boeing, Dell, Nintendo, Tommy Bahama, and Wells Fargo, Hair shifted his focus toward directing virtual reality experiences. His in depth knowledge of camera technology and directing experience allowed for a confident transition into this new art-form.
Hair's first VR project, "Real", was selected to be part of the Kaleidoscope world tour and was awarded the Grand Jury Prize at Fivars film festival. His second film, "En Pointe", was selected as a winner of Samsung's Gear Indie Challenge and had its premiere screening at Sundance 2016. His newest cinematic VR experience, "My Brother's Keeper" was created with his directing partner Alex Meader and premiered with HTC and Jaunt at Sundance 2017. This project, done in collaboration with PBS, Storytech Immersive, Radiant Images, and Technicolor, is now available across all VR platforms.
Hair is constantly experimenting with emerging technology and has a passion for telling stories in unique and innovative ways.
Beth Meberg has produced a wide range of both television and film projects for the past 7 years. Her unique blend of experience includes commercials, virtual reality experiences, short films, and television. She has produced projects for PBS, Microsoft, Wells Fargo, A&E, and Travel Channels #1 rated series Expedition Unknown.
Meberg produced all of Perception Squared's narrative VR work and knows how to effectively plan for the many challenges that can occur when producing VR content. She produced the VR film "Real" which went on to win the Grand Jury Award at Fivars Film Festival. In addition, she was the co-producer on the VR experience "My Brother's Keeper," which premiered at Sundance 2017 and is now part of Kaleidoscope Film Festival's 2017 VR showcase.
Meberg is passionate about using her skills to keep the creative process moving forward from conception to completion. She believes that anything is possible through hard work and dedication and enjoys maintaining an organized and stress free production from start to finish.
